Update

Check for and install updates to keep your Mumara Campaigns installation current with the latest features and security patches.

Overview​

Navigate to Tools → Update to manage application updates.

Update Information​

Current Version Display​

The update page shows:

  • Current installed version
  • Available update version (if any)
  • Release notes for new version
  • Update requirements

Checking for Updates​

  1. Navigate to Tools → Update
  2. Click Check for Updates
  3. System contacts Mumara servers
  4. Available update is displayed (if any)

Update Process​

Before Updating​

  1. Backup database - Create a full database backup
  2. Backup files - Copy application files
  3. Check requirements - Verify server meets requirements
  4. Review release notes - Understand what's changing
  5. Plan downtime - Schedule update during low-traffic period

Performing the Update​

  1. Click Update Now or Download Update
  2. System downloads the update package
  3. Files are extracted and applied
  4. Database migrations run automatically
  5. Cache is cleared
  6. Update completes

After Updating​

  1. Verify application loads correctly
  2. Test key functionality
  3. Check for any error messages
  4. Review logs for issues
  5. Clear browser cache
